ORIGIN… the point or place where something begins, arises, or is derived. The Fall/Winter issue of Woo Publication was entirely centered around people's origins. Where they began, where they are from, where they started, and how this has influenced who they are and who they are becoming. The Issue includes art and design work by the students of Emily Carr University of Art + Design. I worked closely with the creative director and the editor-in-chief to concept the visual direction of the issue. Our goal was a bold and graphic visual style that felt young fresh with a color palette that matched but was still versatile enough to compliment the art and design work included. I personally designed the Spreads included below.
